About the organisation

Incedo is a Bay Area headquartered, consulting, analytics and technology services firm working across the Financial Services, Life Science and Communication Engineering sectors, enabling our clients to maximise business impact through emerging technologies.

During my six-month graduation project at Incedo Technologies, I worked on the project that was related to Enhancing productivity in Corporate functions.

My role
​
My role at Incedo as User experience research and Design Strategist was to understand the overall system of the organization i.e its core, vision, mission and the goal and come up with the models/tool/framework and road map for future strategies that is best fit the organisation that helps in enhancing productivity in corporate functions.
​
To understand the system better, I conducted primary research where I interacted with multiple stakeholders at different levels with Leadership team, Project Managers, Pre-Sales/ Sales Team, Human Resource, Finance team, Process Excellence Team and several Employees within the organisation to understand major challenges that they are facing related to productivity. Mapping Project Journey to understand nuances where in the process there are hinderances and delays which affect productivity. The process involved insight generation, concept ideation and prototyping.

Major areas of my work
​
1. Enhance productivity by ensuring transparency and Inclusivity in the system.
2. Exploring new ways to collaborate and making people more accessible for project to complete on time.
3. Design a framework for consultancy based firm to allocate people (on bench or otherwise) to projects as per skillset.
4. Analysing corporate culture to identify creative capabilities that leverage the company's best practices leading to productivity.

This internship project was undertaken as a part of graduation project requirements for my post-graduate degree at the National Institute of Design, for which the scope of the project is extended to studying the factors that impact productivity in corporates which is into the domain of consultancy, analytics and software services and creating impact through digital transformation.
