Public speaking and Community Engagement

I firmly believe that contributing to the community is a vital part of personal and professional growth.
I've delivered talks at various events, most recently at Women Techmakers, organized by the GDG

I had privilege to discuss a design topic close to my heart: "Designing for Human Touch in the World of AI."

The event was attended by over 200+ students and working professionals from diverse backgrounds, including design and product management.

Postcards Connecting the world

I joined post crossing in Jan 2018, during my masters program at National Institute of Design. One of my seniors introduced me with post crossing, through which one can send and receive postcards from all over the world.

I found it very intriguing as a concept since,

In the world of algorithms, hashtags and followers, post crossing helped me understand the true importance of human connection.

Here is the link to the medium article about "Reviving human connection through post crossing" that I wrote during the pandemic.

Exploring art in free time

I’m passionate about exploring a variety of art mediums and styles, one of my favorites being mandalas. Creating mandalas is more than just an artistic pursuit for me—it’s a form of relaxation therapy.

Alongside mandalas, I love working with watercolors—painting florals, experimenting with abstract forms, and discovering how color, texture, can express moods and ideas. Sometimes it feels like magic

Recently, I’ve also begun exploring digital art. It’s opened up new possibilities in technique, layering, and style. If you like, you can see some of my work on my Instagram art account.

Reading and reviewing books

I am avid reader. I read for enjoyment, insight, motivation, and personal growth. During my free moments, I often find myself lost in pages, gaining new perspectives, reflecting on ideas, and feeding my curiosity. Reading gives me  perfect mix of relaxation and thoughtful introspection.

My reading tastes vary from design, spirituality, self-help, fiction, and anything that expands how I see the world. And I don’t stop at reading, I also write reviews of the books I finish on Goodreads, sharing my thoughts with others. If you like, you can check out my reviews on Goodreads profile.

Gardening & love for plants

I’ve recently discovered a deep passion for plants and gardening. These days, I’m learning different propagation techniquesgrowing new plants from roots, seeds, and stem cuttings.

I’m also composting at home using kitchen scraps, turning waste into something beneficial for my garden. Nurturing a green, thriving home garden fills me with joy and gives me a real sense of peace and fulfilment. It’s become my go-to escape from the daily stress, a way to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Lately I’ve been exploring sustainable gardening practices, especially growing my own vegetables in eco-friendly ways. Every little leaf that grows, every seed that sprouts, it brings me closer to living in harmony with earth.
